Who we are
Romanian Innovation Cluster (RIC) is the controller of personal data collected through aiactromania.ric.ro. Contact: contact@ric.ro.
What we collect
When you join the Romania AI network or book a 1:1 call, we collect: name, email, company (optional), the AI Act challenge you select or message you write, the slot you pick (for bookings), and the timestamp of your consent.
Why we use it
To respond to your request, organise the 1:1 call, and keep you informed about AI Act activities of the Romania AI network. Legal basis: your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Where it's stored
Your data is stored in our managed database hosted in the EU and is accessible only to RIC team members involved in organising the network and event.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the data is no longer needed for the purpose above — whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP. To exercise any right, email contact@ric.ro.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing. Operational processors (hosting, email delivery) act on our instructions under data-processing agreements.
